§ 1. General Provisions
- These Terms of Service govern your use of the FinFuture website and its services. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
- The service provider is FinFuture Education Inc., located in Montreal, Canada. These regulations constitute an agreement between the User and the Platform.
- Users must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in their jurisdiction to create an account and use the services.
- The content provided on the Platform is for educational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice. You should consult a qualified professional for financial advice.
§ 2. Definitions
- Platform – The online educational platform available at finfuture.ca, operated by FinFuture Education Inc.
- User – Any natural person with full legal capacity who creates an Account and uses the Services provided by the Platform.
- Account – A personalized profile created by the User upon registration, allowing access to the Platform's Services.
- Services – All educational materials, tools, courses, and resources made available to the User through the Platform.
- Regulations – This document, the Terms of Service, outlining the rules for using the Platform.
§ 3. Type and Scope of Services Provided
- The Platform provides paid access to a library of digital content, including video lessons, articles, and interactive tools focused on financial literacy and personal responsibility. The scope of access depends on the User's chosen subscription plan.
- The Platform allows Users to create and maintain a personal Account, track their learning progress, and use financial planning tools.
- The Platform reserves the right to modify, add, or remove courses and features at its discretion to improve the service.
- Services are provided on a subscription basis, billed monthly or annually as selected by the User during registration.
§ 4. Technical Requirements
- To use the Platform, the User must have a device with internet access and a modern web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari) with JavaScript and cookies enabled.
- The Platform is not responsible for any disruptions in service due to the User's failure to meet these technical requirements.
- The User is responsible for the security of their own device and internet connection.
§ 5. Rights and Obligations of the User
- The User agrees to provide accurate and truthful information during registration and to keep this information updated.
- The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account password and for all activities that occur under their account.
- The User agrees not to share, resell, or distribute any content from the Platform. The license to use the Services is non-transferable and for personal, non-commercial use only. Violation of this may result in account termination without a refund.
- The User agrees to use the Platform in accordance with applicable laws and these Regulations, and not to engage in any activity that could harm the Platform or its users.
- The User may terminate their subscription at any time through their account settings. Termination will be effective at the end of the current billing cycle.
§ 6. Final Provisions
- The Platform reserves the right to amend these Regulations. Users will be notified of any significant changes via email or a notice on the website.
- These Regulations shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
- Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved in the competent courts of Montreal, Quebec.
